Treatment day 64: 301 days left
Chemo #4
Here we go again. Entertaining the staff with my hat, cancer themed socks and handmade quilt! They’re loving it!
And I am too!
I’m doing great. Probably won’t say that again for about 10 days but like all the rest, I’ll get past it. Then only 2 more! Yay!

Treatment day 70: 295 more to go
Treatments are still getting slightly easier every time. Which is not what I’ve heard usually happens with anyone else I’ve talked to about it. But like I said before… why would I play by the rules of a game I didn’t want to play to begin with!?
This time I did a hydration IV a few days after chemo which helped a bit. I’ll have to keep doing that in the future.
I’m still doing quite well! Still turning up the music and singing and dancing if that’s any indication (just not the week after treatment!)
Chemo is 2/3 done!

Treatment day 85: 280 more to go.
Aaaannd chemo #5! Out of 6! Getting close to done with this phase! And thank goodness.
Not much is new. I had my every-3-month echocardiogram and that looks great. My labs look great. Oncologist said I’m responding to and tolerating treatment very well.
I met with the plastic surgeon and set a date for the first surgery in early Aug. Second surgery will be 6 months later with radiation in between.
He didn’t say much I didn’t already know. Went over the procedure, but they’ll go over more when it gets closer.
I’ll get more details about radiation later after the first surgery and I get results of either a “complete response” to chemo and I’m cancer free or a partial response and what’s next. My oncologist is expecting a complete response and I hope he’s right!
Moving right along!
